The action in supporting Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) who is facing the inquiry rights from Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) continued to rampant. Besides the Movement of Ahok Friends and Younglings (Bima), another support also came from the School and Communication Committee Forum (FKKS). The support is given because Ahok have a clean figure and managed advance education through Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).

Citizens worried the program would stuck if Ahok is demoted

FKKS Chairman, Arman Zakaria conveyed hundreds of thousands of underprivileged people have enjoyed the program. That would mean, if Ahok is demoted as governor, it will have an impact on the people.

“Citizens worried the program would stuck if Ahok is demoted,” he stressed, Monday (3/2).

Zakaria considered that any policy done by Ahok is in line with the existing regulation. Therefore, it is reasonable if he gets support from many parties.

“Mr. Ahok's policy is in line with constitution, thus citizens are ready to support him for combating corruption,” he added.

Furthermore, he conveyed that e-budgeting system could be a breakthrough to support the transparent use of the budget. “Jakarta Provincial Government is the only one province in Indonesia which most ready to implement it,” he expressed.

He uttered the CIty Budget (APBD) managed by Jakarta government is the highest in Indonesia. That is why, the strict supervision is intensified.

"Through e-budgeting, citizen could participate to keep an eye on the use of the budget,” he finished.
